white flight

Since we talked about white flight in class i decided to look more into it.

I found two articles on the school systems across the world partaking in white flight. It seems to be a bigger problem then I thought.. here are the two links.

The first article talks about white parents sending their children to catholic or private schools to isolate their children. And I now realize that this is also happening in my home town. I went to a high school that was mostly white but still had diversity. But there was a catholic high school in the same town too. The catholic school was almost all white kids.

The second article is about white children fleeing schools based on Asians. Asians bring it fierce competition school wise and put a lot of pressure on other kids to perform well.
