This video shows racism very well because is shows numerous of black people walking in stores and then the managers telling them they cant afford these things because of their race. It's interesting to see how the other shoppers react in the store and if they will actually say something to the manager about how she is being unfair and judgmental. The black woman in the beginning is minding her own business trying to shop in the store for something to wear and she is interrupted by the manager telling her she wont be able to afford it. There are shoppers that just stare and walk away because they don't want to get involved but what would YOU do in this situation? Would you say something to the manager about how they are acting racist or would you walk away? We have talked in class about racism and what does it mean to be racist and I thought this was a good video identifying that topic.
