September 11

I feel as though there is nothing more relevant to make my first post on than to make it about the horrific Tuesday morning where America changed in many ways. In many ways it brought our country closer together in the following months and years, but it also led to people being discriminated because of their race and religion. As news outlets released information of the attackers, shame was brought across a whole race that just look the same as the attackers. If the attackers were white, would there ever be difference in the way Muslims treated white people? The answer is most likely a no. Below is a link to a video interviewing people of all races talking about how 9/11 affected them personally. It really shows how race determines what way 9/11 affected you most.
