A big portion of the news is commercials and another big portion is the weather but thats why we have a weather channel. The news is more for entertainment I believe that the PSU scandal, dog adoption, animal rescue and a dog showing off is all for pure entertainment. The PSU scandal especially. That conflict is not about informing people of whats going on in the world its about a man that sexually harassed boys and now its getting so much news coverage because they know people who dont normally watch the news might turn in to hear about the creep.
