New Poverty Record

http://www.sfexaminer.com/news/health/2011/11/revised-govt-formula-shows-new-poverty-high-491m

49.1 Million Americans are now labeled as poor based on the newest poverty ratings. This increases the percentage to 16%. This is just another fact that solidifies that changes need to be made to bridge the gap between classes in America today. Trickle down economics obviously is not working in theory which means the rich needs to be tax so money can be spread to the poor. The rich cannot complain with this because they can move money around and still be able to live comfortably. Others in America are working two jobs at 8 hours each and are still struggling to make a living. Aid needs to be giving to these people, but money is not available unless the rich are taxed.
