In class we discussed gender and the traits of boys and girls. The way gender is classified gets passed on by everyone. We grow up and are raised to dress and look a certain way. A boy baby would usually get blue clothing and a girl baby would usually get pink clothing. Gender identity is defined as a personal conception of oneself as male or female. Your gender qualities come from being a male or female for example, males are usually workers and strong while girls are suppose to be pretty and just look good. It's also stereotypes.
