Urban Sociology

In my urban sociology class my professor reiterated some of the ideas that we talked about in earlier classes. He talked about the main st line in buffalo, and how one side of the street is nearly all black. Also, he went into detail about the zoning and real estate prices of housing in one neighbor hood compared to another. Finally, he talked about how crime was found more in cities because cops patrol those areas more. They are told when patrolling suburbs to keep minorities out. I thought this was interesting because we talked about all these factors. Just thought id share
