The film, "Reel Injun" showed the way of life and coming of new life for Native Americans. The film covered aspects of the way natives live and the way they were viewed by people. There were stereotypes given to natives and their groups. Native actors were rarely given leading roles in film. In the Hollywood world according to John Trudell, a Native American poet and activist, natives are represented in a form of colonialism and oppression in which natives from Indigenous nations are not given their true identity. They are portrayed all as one. The film touched on a lot of facts and showed us what natives do and go through.
